NEW PUPPIES! (See photos of the mother and the maternal grandmother below) On Sunday, July 27, Ronnie did not eat her breakfast so I knew something was up. I started to groom 6 dogs so that I would not have to worry about them on Monday for pickup by the owners. By 12 noon her temperature began to drop the two degrees that indicate puppies will arrive within 12 hours. I stayed up all night and finally at 3 am the first little girl arrived. Then she had another immediately followed by a L-O-O-N-N-G wait until the next series of 5 puppies arrived in rapid fire style from 5:30 to 6:10 am. Three more filled out a full set of 10 by 8:10 am. Now I track the weight gain with the puppies identified with the bright colored ribbons. So, may I introduce... Just born! July 28, 2008-- 2 males and 8 females--The dam is Ronnie, Seneca Deutsch Schokolade (CERF/OFA Excellent) a daughter of Am Can CH Seneca Whodunit's Motive, CERF/OFA Excellent. Ronnie's mother is our East German import Can CH Jalomonis June (CERF/OFA Excellent) from a family of top working dogs in Europe. The sire is our top ranked obedience dog, VDH/KFT/Am CH Seneca Stony Stone Brandit UD, (OFA Good), sire of dozens of champions, service dogs, and obedience winners. ***Puppies available September 17 and thereafter*** The puppies now have opened their eyes and we are beginning puppy "soup" later this week. Ronnie is an exceptionally good mother dog too. NEWS FLASH: Seneca Missy certified as Hearing Assistance Dog! Missy is the companion to a 90 year old lady and is an essential part of her being able to live independently. New CH Seneca Minnesota Razzle Dazzle wins the MN Specialty! AND New CH Claire with Jean McCoy (IL) - I'm sorry that I've forgotten her full name! ....more Seneca dogs heading out to the shows to strut....news as we hear it.

Translated quote from German SV judge Werner Rapien (who) primarily breeds Malinois for the German police force. He says, "Turk really stood out as a dog that I like very much at your trial. Above all, he exudes self confidence but he also has a healthy defense drive which he knows how to use."
